This low-rise condominium complex was originally built during the 1960’s and many of the exterior envelope elements had reached the end of their service life. The property was suffering from water intrusion and partial dislodgement of the cladding from the wall.
Asphalt shingles, marbelcrete, exterior direct-applied coatings, rebate windows and original balconies. The cladding was redesigned with a new stucco-like fiber cement cladding in rainscreen installation.
Our team was commission with the condition assessment of the project, so that budget figures could be generated. Once the finances were secured, our firm was commissioned with the design, permitting and overseeing of the targeted repairs to the areas of most obvious distress.
