Mid-rise apartment building built in the turn of the century. Throughout its service life, the building had been subjected to multiple changes in exterior materials, including installation of ‘rebate’ windows and metal siding.
Multi-Whyte brick walls over wood framing, modified bitumen roofing membranes torched applied, copper flashings, terracotta accents, old-growth heavy timber wood windows with concealed balusters, metal siding additions.
Our team was commissioned with the evaluation of the existing roofing, cladding and fenestration systems and to provide recommendations for targeted and limited repairs necessary to satisfy short and long term maintenance and replacement commitments.
